This Privacy Policy applies to Satrang Technologies Private Limited ("Satrang Technologies", "we", "us", or "our") and all of our Salesforce AppExchange applications listed below.
All Satrang Technologies AppExchange apps are 100% native Salesforce applications. They are installed directly into your Salesforce org and operate entirely within the Salesforce platform. We do not operate any external servers that store, process, or transmit your Salesforce data outside of the Salesforce platform.
Our apps access only the Salesforce data required to provide the specific functionality you configure. Examples include:
This data is accessed through the standard Salesforce API within your org. It is not transmitted to Satrang Technologies or any third party, except where you explicitly configure an integration with an external storage service (such as Amazon S3 or Azure Blob Storage) that you own and control.
Access to data is strictly limited to the functionality of the app and is governed by the permissions configured within your Salesforce org.
To be explicit about what stays out of scope, we do not:
For apps that integrate with external storage services (Drag, Drop & Upload to Amazon S3 and Azure Integration), file data is transmitted directly from your Salesforce org to your own Amazon S3 bucket or Azure Blob Storage container using credentials you provide. Satrang Technologies does not have access to your storage credentials or the files transferred.
All data transfers occur directly between your Salesforce org and the external service and do not pass through Satrang Technologies systems.
All Satrang Technologies apps are AppExchange certified and comply with Salesforce’s security review requirements, including the AppExchange Partner Program Agreement and Salesforce’s data use policies. Apps undergo periodic re-review by Salesforce to maintain certification.
As we do not store any of your Salesforce data on our servers, there is no retention period applicable. All app data remains within your Salesforce org under your control, subject to your org’s own retention policies.
Our marketing website (satrangtech.com) may use standard web analytics tools to understand traffic patterns and improve content. These tools do not access your Salesforce org or AppExchange app usage data.
When you contact us through our support portal, email, or any form on our website (contact, demo request, or sales enquiry), we collect the information you provide (typically name, email, company name, and your message). This information is processed based on your consent when submitting the form, and is used solely to respond to your enquiry and provide support.
We do not share this data with third parties and do not use it for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
You have the right to know what data we hold about you (which is limited to support communications), to request deletion of your support records, and to opt out of any marketing communications. Contact us at privacy@satrangtech.com for any requests.
Satrang Technologies is committed to complying with applicable data protection and privacy regulations relevant to our operations and customers, including GDPR (where applicable to EU and UK residents) and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we’ll provide additional notice on this page or via the AppExchange listings.
