v3.7.8Documentation Polish: One Look EverywhereLatest
August 2026
A small cosmetic pass from fresh-eyes review of the documentation pages. The Back to App button now looks identical on every page, and the new How To Use guide renders with exactly the same typography as the rest of the docs.
Fixed
Back to App looks the same everywhere. The button had a bordered style on some documentation pages and a plain style on others. Every page now uses the bordered version, with the same hover. Its behavior is unchanged.
How To Use matches the docs' typography. The guide page was rendering its text slightly larger and looser than the other documentation pages. Its base font size and line spacing now match exactly, so the whole doc set reads as one.
v3.7.7One Nav: Simpler App, New How-To Guide
August 2026
The app's navigation is now one place: the sidebar. The in-app footer is gone, documentation links moved up into a Docs group in the sidebar, Support and Feedback became quick in-app dialogs, and the How To Use guide is now its own full documentation page you can link and search for.
New
How To Use is now a real documentation page. The full guide - first query, aggregates and HAVING, templates, saved queries, exports, keyboard shortcuts, multi-org, and the first-login admin approval note - lives at its own linkable page alongside the other docs, with the same theme and Back to App behavior.
Improved
One navigation, in the sidebar. The app footer is gone. Documentation links (How To Use, Architecture, FAQ, Privacy) now live in the sidebar's Docs group and open alongside the app so your session is never disturbed.
Support and Feedback open in place. Both are now quick dialogs inside the app - no scrolling to the bottom of the page, no navigation, and the feedback form is unchanged.
v3.7.6Back to App, Actually Back
August 2026
Completes the v3.7.5 session-continuity work. Browsers quietly sever the connection between the app and a documentation tab it opens unless the link explicitly opts in, which made Back to App fall back to a fresh login screen. The connection is now preserved end to end: Back to App returns you to your live, still-connected app tab and closes the documentation tab behind it.
Fixed
Back to App returns to your connected session. Documentation tabs opened from the app now keep their link back to it, so Back to App focuses your original app tab, with all connected orgs intact, and tidies up the documentation tab. It never opens a duplicate app or a login screen when your app tab exists.
Direct visitors are unaffected. If you open a documentation page directly, from a search result or a shared link, Back to App still takes you to the app as before.
v3.7.5Session-Safe Doc Browsing
August 2026
Reading the documentation can no longer cost you your session. Documentation pages opened from the app now always open in a new tab, and Back to App returns you to your live, still-connected app tab instead of a fresh login screen. Plus a small landing-page alignment fix on phones.
Fixed
Back to App keeps you logged in. On every documentation page, Back to App now returns you to the app tab you came from, with your connected orgs intact. If you opened the page directly (say, from a search result), it takes you to the app login as before.
Footer links inside the app open in a new tab. Clicking a documentation link in the app's footer used to navigate away and end your session. From inside the app those links now open alongside it, leaving your session untouched.
Landing navigation aligned on phones. The Launch QueryStream button now sits flush with the right edge on narrow screens instead of floating with uneven spacing, and a small edge-overflow at one phone width is gone.
v3.7.4Uniform Polish: Every Page, Same Behavior
July 2026
A follow-up to v3.7.3 applying its fixes uniformly across every page after fresh-eyes re-testing. Documentation page logos can no longer end an active app session, the theme toggle is now the identical control everywhere, the contact address is hardened against CDN rewriting, and the topbar buttons get breathing room.
Fixed
Documentation page logos no longer end your session. The logos on all five documentation pages linked back to the app, which loaded a fresh session-less copy and read as a logout. They now link to the QueryStream home page instead.
One theme toggle, everywhere. Every page now uses the identical moon/sun toggle that flips with the current state. Previously three different toggle designs existed and some icons never changed, which made a working theme look broken.
Contact address hardened against CDN rewriting. The remaining plain-text email addresses are now assembled in the browser at page load, so Cloudflare's edge-level email obfuscation can never again rewrite them into the broken protection links that caused click errors.
Topbar buttons spaced out. Add Org and Logout were rendering with no space between them.
Home page navigation stays on one row on phones. On narrow screens the top navigation used to wrap awkwardly onto two rows. It now stays on a single tidy row all the way down to small phone widths, compacting gracefully as space shrinks.
v3.7.3UI Polish: Theme, Logo, and Org-Switch Safety
July 2026
A bundled polish release from fresh-eyes testing. Your dark or light theme choice now follows you across every page instead of resetting as you navigate, the app's logo no longer ends your session when clicked, switching orgs mid-query now asks before stopping the running query, and the contact email works everywhere as a plain address.
Fixed
Theme sticks across every page. Dark or light mode is now remembered by one shared mechanism on the app, the landing page, and all documentation pages - it applies before the page paints (no flash), and the toggle icon always reflects the current state. Previously several pages forgot the choice and one always opened in light mode.
The app logo no longer logs you out. Clicking the QueryStream logo inside the app used to reload the page, which dropped your session. Inside the app it is now simply the brand mark; on the website pages it still navigates normally.
Contact email works everywhere. An obfuscated email link on the Privacy page errored when clicked, and the in-app contact panel showed a garbled address. Both now show the plain address with a working mail link.
Improved
Switching orgs mid-query now asks first. If a query is still streaming when you click another org tab, QueryStream asks before stopping it - cancel and the query keeps running exactly where it was. Nothing changes when no query is running.
v3.7.2Network Resilience and Session Recovery
July 2026
A robustness release focused on flaky-network survival. Long streaming queries and background session renewals now ride out brief connection drops instead of failing, a dead session offers a one-click Reconnect for just the affected org, and partial results from an interrupted query can still be exported. No changes to how queries run or how results are computed.
Improved
Queries survive brief network drops. Every request now retries automatically (with a short pause) after a momentary connection failure or a transient server error, so a long streaming query no longer dies on its 40th batch because of one blip. Aborting a query still stops everything immediately.
Session renewal tolerates blips too. A momentary connection drop during background session renewal no longer masquerades as an expired session telling you to log back in; a genuinely expired session still fails fast with a clear message.
One-click Reconnect for a dead session. When a session truly expires or is revoked, the error message now includes a Reconnect button that reopens the login for just that org - other connected orgs are untouched.
Partial results stay exportable. If a streaming query fails partway, the rows already loaded remain in the table and can now be exported, just as they can after an abort.
Saved-query storage problems are no longer silent. If your browser blocks or runs out of local storage, saving a query now warns you immediately instead of quietly losing the save.
v3.7.1Add Org Login Fix
July 2026
A focused hotfix for v3.7.0. Connecting a second org with Add Org could fail with "invalid code verifier": the security value that proves a login belongs to your browser was being prepared a moment too late for the popup window to receive its copy. It is now always in place before the popup is created, and if a login window ever finds itself without it, you get a clear explanation instead of a cryptic error. First-org login was never affected.
Fixed
Add Org (second org) login works again. The PKCE security verifier is now stored before the login popup is created, so the popup always carries the value needed to complete the token exchange, including when connecting a second or third org in a row.
Clear message instead of "invalid code verifier". If a login window ever starts without its security verifier, it now stops with a plain-language explanation naming the affected attempt, rather than sending an incomplete request to Salesforce and surfacing a cryptic error.
No leftover login state. Cancelled, blocked, or failed Add Org attempts now clean up after themselves immediately instead of waiting for the next page load.
v3.7.0Stronger Login Security (PKCE) and Session Resilience
July 2026
A security and resilience release with no changes to the query editor itself. Every login now uses PKCE, an industry-standard protection that cryptographically binds your login to your own browser. QueryStream is also fully prepared for Salesforce's stricter Connected App security controls: it adopts rotated refresh tokens seamlessly and handles session expiry with a clear prompt instead of a silent failure. Login popups and app startup are more robust in hardened browser environments.
Improved
Logins now use PKCE (S256). Every login and Add Org connection includes a one-time cryptographic challenge that ensures only the browser that started a login can complete it. This happens automatically and works whether or not your org requires it.
Ready for Salesforce's stricter Connected App controls. QueryStream now fully supports refresh token rotation (each background session renewal can be issued a brand-new token) and handles refresh token expiry gracefully. If your session can no longer be renewed, you get one clear message asking you to log in again instead of repeated silent retries.
Startup problems are now visible. If QueryStream ever fails while loading, a banner tells you which startup step failed and suggests refreshing, instead of leaving a silently broken page.
Add Org popups are more robust. The popup login flow now completes reliably even under strict browser window-isolation policies, and an abandoned popup can never leave the app in a stuck state.
Architecture documentation refreshed. The Architecture Deep Dive now describes the login flow, including PKCE and token rotation, at the level of what the product guarantees rather than implementation internals.
v3.6.9Credential Hardening, XSS Fixes, and Reliability Polish
July 2026
A maintenance release focused on security hardening and reliability, with no changes to the query editor itself. Salesforce credentials now live in a dedicated configuration file instead of application code. Two cross-site scripting issues in dynamically rendered column names and org tab labels are fixed. The API proxy now rejects requests outside the query range it is meant to serve. Session auto-renewal, which had been silently failing, works correctly again.
Fixed
Session auto-renewal now works correctly. A missing configuration value meant automatic token refresh was silently failing on the server. It has been corrected, so long-running sessions now renew in the background as intended.
Fixed two XSS issues in dynamically rendered content. Column names and org tab labels built from query results and Salesforce metadata are now safely escaped before being inserted into the page, closing off a class of injection issue in edge-case values.
API proxy scope tightened. The server-side proxy that relays Salesforce API calls now validates that pagination requests stay within the query endpoints it is meant to serve.
Improved
Credentials moved to a dedicated configuration file. Salesforce Connected App credentials are now stored separately from application code, reducing the chance of accidental exposure.
Warning before leaving mid-query. If you try to close or navigate away from the tab while a large query is still streaming results, your browser now warns you first, so you do not lose loaded rows by accident.
Documentation pages now cross-link consistently. The Privacy Policy, Architecture and Privacy, and Release Notes pages now all link to each other, so you can navigate between them from any one of them.
Added guidance for a first-login admin approval step. Some Salesforce orgs require an admin to approve a Connected App once before the first login succeeds. The How To Use section now explains this, including the exact error text to look for.
v3.6.8Export After Abort Fix, Mobile Width Fix, Sidebar PolishMinor
April 2026
Three fixes. Export CSV now correctly appears after aborting a query if any rows were loaded. The mobile layout after login now fills the full screen width on all Android Chrome versions. Sidebar section quick-links are darker and more readable, and What's New is now styled consistently with the rest of the links under a Jump To label.
Fixed
Export CSV visible after aborting a query. If you aborted a running query that had already loaded some rows, the Export CSV button did not appear. It now always appears when rows are available, regardless of whether the query completed normally or was aborted mid-stream.
Mobile layout fills full screen width after login. On some Android Chrome versions, the main content area was only using about half the screen width after login. Added an explicit width:100% and overflow-x:hidden to the main app container on mobile to ensure it always fills the viewport correctly.
Improved
Sidebar quick-links are darker and more readable. The section links (How It Works, How To Use, Support, Feedback, Reviews) were too faint. They are now the same text colour as other readable sidebar items. What's New is now consistently styled and indented at the same level, and a small Jump To label heads the group for clarity.
v3.6.7Sidebar Quick-Links and Architecture PageMinor
April 2026
Two additions. The sidebar now shows five quick-links after login that scroll directly to the How It Works, How To Use, Support, Feedback, and Reviews sections - useful when the table has a lot of results and these sections scroll out of view. A new standalone Architecture and Privacy page provides a detailed technical explanation of exactly how QueryStream handles credentials, executes queries, and protects data.
Added
Sidebar section quick-links. After logging in, five links appear below the What's New button in the sidebar: How It Works, How To Use, Support, Feedback, and Reviews. Clicking any of them scrolls smoothly to that section, opens it if it was collapsed, and closes the mobile sidebar drawer automatically.
Architecture and Privacy deep-dive page. A new page at architecture.html explains in detail how OAuth login works, how the stateless proxy relay operates, how token refresh happens, the three query strategies (streaming, aggregate rewrite, single-shot), what data is stored and where, multi-org isolation, and a full security summary. Includes a comparison table of every data type and where it lives. Dark mode and mobile responsive.
v3.6.6LIMIT Bug Fix and Keyboard Shortcut UpdateMinor
April 2026
Two fixes. Queries with LIMIT values larger than 2,000 now correctly stream all rows instead of stopping at the first batch. The focus editor keyboard shortcut has changed from Ctrl+Shift+E to Ctrl+Shift+F to avoid conflicts with browser extensions such as Zoho Vault.
Fixed
LIMIT queries larger than 2,000 rows now return all results. When a query included LIMIT 20000, QueryStream was incorrectly stopping after the first batch of 2,000 rows. The detection logic now checks the actual LIMIT value. LIMIT 2,000 or below uses a single-shot fetch. LIMIT above 2,000 uses the streaming cursor, and Salesforce enforces the LIMIT server-side so all results up to the specified number are returned correctly.
Focus editor shortcut changed from Ctrl+Shift+E to Ctrl+Shift+F. Ctrl+Shift+E was conflicting with the Zoho Vault browser extension and possibly others. The shortcut has been changed to Ctrl+Shift+F which has no known conflicts. All other shortcuts remain unchanged: Ctrl+Enter to run, Escape to abort, Ctrl+Shift+X to clear.
v3.6.5UI Readability and PolishMinor
April 2026
A set of readability and polish fixes based on user feedback. Column headers are darker and easier to read, sort icons are clearly visible on all columns, the row count now shows a Showing prefix in both the status bar and the table footer, and collapsible section text throughout the app is darker in both light and dark mode.
Improved
Column headers are darker and easier to read. Table column header text was medium grey in both light and dark mode. It is now full contrast text, matching the body text darkness.
Sort icons are now clearly visible on all columns. The up/down sort indicator on unsorted columns was nearly invisible. It is now shown in a visible grey so users can clearly see every column is sortable.
Row count now shows Showing prefix. The status bar and table footer both show "Showing 11,080 / 11,080 rows" for clarity. Both update live during streaming and stay in sync at all times.
Collapsible section text is darker throughout. Paragraph text inside all collapsible sections (How To Use, Architecture, Found This Useful, Feedback, Reviews) was medium grey. Now full contrast text in both light and dark mode.
v3.6.4Reviews, Bug Fixes and PolishMinor
April 2026
Adds a What Users Are Saying reviews section (pre-login and post-login), toast notifications with a close button, and a set of bug fixes from QA testing covering mobile sidebar behaviour, keyboard shortcuts and readability.
New
What Users Are Saying reviews section. Review cards showing star rating, reviewer name, role and review text appear as a collapsible section before login (below How To Use) and as the 5th collapsible after login. Both are open by default. The section is hidden if no reviews are present.
Leave a Review button. Opens Gmail compose pre-filled with a review template. Works before and after login.
Toast close button. All toast notifications now have an X button to dismiss manually. Auto-dismiss extended from 4 to 6 seconds.
Feedback form type now includes Review. The Type dropdown in the Feedback form has a new Review option for users who want to send a review via the form instead of Gmail.
Fixed
Mobile sidebar now closes when selecting history or saved queries. Tapping a history item or saved query on mobile left the sidebar drawer half-open. Both now close the drawer correctly before running the query.
Ctrl+Shift+E keyboard shortcut fixed. The focus editor shortcut was failing on some browsers because the key check was case-sensitive. Now uses a case-insensitive check that works reliably across all browsers and operating systems.
Sends to label in Feedback form is now readable. The email address label below the Send Feedback button was too faint to read comfortably. It has been darkened to match other secondary labels in the form.
Attachments by Content Type template fixed. The previous Attachments by Object template used a GROUP BY on a polymorphic field which the Salesforce REST API does not support, causing a 400 error. Replaced with a query grouped by ContentType which works correctly on all orgs.
v3.6.3Templates, Keyboard Shortcuts, Mobile and MoreMinor
April 2026
A substantial feature release. Seven new SOQL templates for common Salesforce admin tasks, keyboard shortcuts for power users, a live row count in the browser tab title, a Release Notes link in the sidebar, and a responsive layout for tablets and phones.
New
Seven new SOQL templates. Users Never Logged In, Accounts Modified Today, Opportunities Closing This Month, Overdue Tasks, Users by Profile, and Accounts Without Contacts join the existing template library. All appear in the sidebar and auto-run on click.
Keyboard shortcuts. Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to run a query. Escape to abort a running query. Ctrl+Shift+E to focus the query editor. Ctrl+Shift+X to clear the editor. All shortcuts are listed in the How To Use section.
Live row count in browser tab title. While a query is running the tab shows "Loading... 12,400 rows | QueryStream". On completion it shows the final count. Aborted shows "Aborted | QueryStream". Useful when you switch to another tab while a large query runs.
Release Notes link in the sidebar. A "What's New" link with a star icon sits below the Query Editor button in the sidebar, making the changelog easier to find without hunting for the version badge.
Mobile and tablet responsive layout. The sidebar collapses to a slide-in drawer on phones (hamburger button in the topbar). The results table scrolls horizontally on small screens. The editor and toolbar adapt to narrow widths. Tablet sizes get a narrower sidebar. Desktop layout is completely unchanged.
v3.6.2Bug FixesMinor
March 2026
Four targeted fixes: the Send Feedback button now opens your email client without logging you out, the blue tech labels in the Architecture section no longer overlap card text, the privacy/trust strip is shorter and fits in two lines on desktop, and a noisy console message has been silenced.
Fixed
Send Feedback no longer logs you out. The button was navigating the page to a mailto: URL which destroyed your Salesforce session. It now opens your email client silently in the background without affecting your session.
Architecture card labels no longer overlap text. The blue technical labels at the bottom of each How It Works card were overlapping on longer cards. Each card now has a guaranteed minimum height and increased padding.
Privacy strip shortened to 6 concise items. Reduced from 8 pills to 6 with shorter text so the strip fits in two lines on desktop instead of three.
Aggregate query fallback no longer logs to the console. When running a GROUP BY query that needs browser-side grouping, a console message appeared. This is expected behaviour and the message has been removed.
v3.6.1UX Polish and SEOMinor
March 2026
A polish release fixing several UX annoyances reported after v3.6.0. Clear History button hidden when empty, Query History and Saved Queries merged into a tabbed section, clicking a history or saved query now auto-runs it, export dropdown no longer clipped, arch-tech labels pinned to card bottoms, feedback mailto fixed, dedicated privacy page added, and SEO improvements.
Improved
Clear History button hidden when history is empty. It no longer shows on first login or after clearing all history.
History and Saved Queries merged into one tabbed sidebar section. Switch between History and Saved tabs instead of scrolling past two separate sections.
Clicking a history item or saved query now auto-runs it. Same behaviour as clicking a template - loads and executes immediately.
Export CSV / JSON dropdown opens correctly. Was clipped by a CSS overflow setting on the query editor. Fixed.
Send Feedback button opens email client reliably. Was using window.open() which browsers block. Now uses direct mailto navigation.
New
Dedicated Privacy Policy page. A plain-English privacy page specifically for QueryStream is now linked from the footer. Short version: we collect nothing.
v3.6.0Export, Sort and Saved QueriesFeature
March 2026
Three quality-of-life improvements for power users. You can now export results as JSON in addition to CSV, sort columns are more visually obvious, and frequently used queries can be saved by name and recalled instantly - even after closing the browser.
New
Export as JSON. The Export button is now a split button. The left side exports CSV as before. Click the arrow on the right to choose between CSV (best for Excel and Google Sheets) and JSON (best for developers, scripts, and API integrations). Both export the full result set including any rows still loading.
Saved Queries - store your most used queries by name. A new Saved Queries section sits in the left sidebar below Query History. Click Save to give a query a name and store it. Saved queries survive closing the browser - they are kept in your browser's local storage on your device only, never sent to our servers. Click the pencil icon to rename a saved query, or the X to remove it.
Improved
Column sorting is now visually obvious. Every column header now shows a subtle grey up-down arrow so it is clear that columns are sortable. When you click a column to sort it, the header highlights in blue with a solid directional arrow. Previously there was no visual cue that sorting was available at all.
Under the Hood
Saved queries store only the query name and SOQL text - no Salesforce tokens, no org details, no result data. They live in your browser's local storage and are completely private to your device.
v3.5.1Reliability and PolishMinor
March 2026
A focused reliability release. Switching templates or clicking Clear now instantly stops whatever was running. Several edge cases around multi-org usage were tightened up, one query template was fixed for orgs with many attachments, and a new "Accounts per Day" template was added.
New
Accounts per Day template - New built-in query that groups Account records by the calendar day they were created. Useful for spotting data migration spikes or import activity over time.
Automated quality checks - Every release now goes through 273 automated checks covering functionality, security, and isolation before it reaches you. This means fewer surprises after upload.
Improved
Click a template while a query is running - old query stops immediately. Previously the old query would keep running in the background and briefly overwrite the new one's status. Now it stops the instant you click.
Clear button now fully stops a running query. Clicking Clear now kills the active query immediately. The row counter blanks at once rather than lingering for a second or two.
Switching orgs stops any running query cleanly. Switching to a different org tab, logging out, closing a tab, or loading a history item all now immediately stop whatever query was in progress rather than letting it run silently in the background.
Attachments by Object template fixed for large orgs. This template was returning an error on orgs with a high attachment count. A row limit has been added to keep it within what Salesforce allows, while still covering any realistic data set.
Footer and feedback pill styling refreshed. The footer now shows "Satrang Technologies" as a proper label, and the feedback email pill is highlighted in blue so it is easier to spot.
Under the Hood
The internal query management was rebuilt so that clicking Clear or a template is a hard stop - not a soft signal that the running query can ignore if it happens to be mid-response. The older query is retired permanently the instant you take action.
v3.5.0Auto-Renewing SessionsFeature
March 2026
Salesforce sessions normally expire after two hours. Before this release, that meant your query would suddenly fail mid-stream. v3.5.0 introduces automatic session renewal - when your session expires, QueryStream silently renews it and continues without interrupting your work.
New
Automatic session renewal. If your Salesforce session expires while you are working, QueryStream renews it in the background. You will see a brief notification toast but your query continues uninterrupted. No more unexpected login prompts mid-query.
HAVING clause support in all aggregate queries. Aggregate queries now fully support HAVING filters. For example: HAVING COUNT(Id) > 100. When Salesforce handles it natively it runs at full speed. When the browser-grouping fallback is used, a notice appears to let you know filtering was applied after fetching.
Browser storage warning. If your browser blocks storage (common in strict private/incognito mode), QueryStream now shows a clear orange banner explaining what happened rather than failing silently.
v3.4.0Multi-Org SupportFeature
March 2026
The biggest release to date. You can now connect multiple Salesforce orgs in the same browser session and switch between them using a tab strip, just like browser tabs. Each org keeps its own query editor, result set, and history completely separate.
New
Connect multiple orgs at once. Use the Add Org button in the top bar to connect a second, third, or fourth org. Each opens in a popup window so you never lose your current session.
Org tab strip. A tab strip appears below the top bar when more than one org is connected. Click any tab to switch instantly. Close a tab to disconnect that org without affecting the others.
Org name is a clickable link. The org instance name in the top bar is now a link that opens your Salesforce home page directly - handy when you want to cross-reference something you found in the query results.
Pagination controls at the top of the table. In addition to the bottom pagination, controls now appear directly above the results table so you do not have to scroll when working with large result sets.
Under the Hood
Results from one org are guaranteed to never appear under another org's tab, even if a slow query from the previous org finishes after you have already switched. Each org context is fully isolated.
Your access token is sent to the proxy server in the request body, not the URL. This means it never appears in server access logs.
After login, your Salesforce token is handed to your browser through a secure handoff rather than appearing in the browser address bar. This means it is never stored in browser history and cannot be seen by anyone looking over your shoulder at the URL.
v3.3.0Native Aggregate QueriesMinor
March 2026
Aggregate queries - those using GROUP BY, COUNT, SUM, AVG and similar - now run natively against Salesforce first. Simple groupings complete in seconds. The browser-based fallback is only used when Salesforce itself cannot handle the query directly.
Improved
Aggregate queries are dramatically faster on most orgs. A GROUP BY query that previously fetched thousands of raw rows and grouped them in your browser now returns a pre-grouped result from Salesforce in a single call - the same speed you would see in Developer Console.
The query mode indicator now shows which path was used. You will see either "Native aggregate" or "Rewrite + stream" below the results so you know exactly how your query was executed.
Org login always prompts for credentials. Previously, if you were already logged into Salesforce in the same browser, it could silently connect to the wrong org. Now it always shows the login screen.
v3.2.0Sub-Queries and TimersMinor
March 2026
Added support for viewing child records inline within query results, plus a live runtime timer so you always know how long a query has been running.
New
Expandable sub-query results. When your SOQL includes a sub-select (for example, fetching related Contacts alongside Accounts), child records appear as a clickable chip in the table. Click it to open a floating mini-table showing the related records.
Live runtime timer. A timer in the status bar shows how long the current query has been running. It keeps ticking while batches load and freezes when the query completes, giving you a clear benchmark for each run.
v3.1.0Performance and PreferencesMinor
March 2026
Smarter query execution for smaller result sets, plus dark mode that remembers your preference between sessions.
Improved
Queries with small result sets complete in a single round trip. When all records fit in the first batch (up to 2,000 rows), QueryStream skips the streaming loop entirely. This makes most day-to-day queries noticeably snappier.
Dark mode preference is remembered. Your light or dark mode choice now persists across sessions. The app opens in whichever mode you last chose.
v3.0.0Live Streaming ResultsLaunch
March 2026
The first public release of QueryStream. Built to solve one specific problem: running SOQL queries against large Salesforce orgs without hitting governor limits or waiting for a single slow response. Results stream into the table as they arrive, and you can sort, browse, and export while loading is still in progress.
Core Features
Works on any Salesforce org, any size. No install on your Salesforce org. No package to deploy. Connect via OAuth and start querying immediately.
Results stream live in batches of 2,000. No waiting for all records to load. Rows appear as they arrive. Sort and export at any point, even mid-load.
Aggregate queries work on any org size. GROUP BY, COUNT, SUM, AVG, MIN, MAX all work without governor limits. Records are fetched in batches and grouped in your browser when necessary.
Export to CSV at any time. Download your results as a CSV file while the query is still loading, or after it completes.
Six built-in templates. Pre-written queries for the most common data health checks: file inventory, attachment audit, recent records, open tasks, user login activity, and large file identification.
Query history. The last 30 queries are saved in your session. Click any history entry to load it back into the editor.
Zero server storage. Your Salesforce token lives only in your browser tab's memory. Closing the tab destroys it permanently. No data is stored, logged, or retained on our servers.
