What is Mass File Download?+

Mass File Download is a Salesforce AppExchange app that lets you bulk download Files, Attachments, Notes, Documents, Static Resources, Event Logs and Library Files from any Salesforce org as organized ZIP folders. It works with all standard and custom objects. 100% native - your data never leaves Salesforce infrastructure.

What file types can I download?+

The app supports Files (ContentDocument), Attachments, Classic Notes, Lightning Notes, Documents, Static Resources, Event Logs, Library Files and Account Engagement (Pardot) Files. All file types are covered under one native app.

Does it work with custom objects?+

Yes. The app works with all standard and custom Salesforce objects. You can use SOQL filters to precisely target files attached to any object - Accounts, Contacts, Cases, Opportunities, or any custom object your org uses.

How does pricing work?+

Mass File Download uses simple per-user, per-year licensing. The base package is $360/year and includes 4 user licenses. Additional users are $90/user/year. Optional add-on features (Event Log, Notes, Lightning Tab, etc.) are separately priced. There are no download caps or monthly limits in the base package.

What are the add-on features?+

Add-ons include: Record Details LWC Component (download from parent/child/grandchild records on any record page), Lightning Tab (bulk download up to 5,000 files across multiple objects), Downloaded Files Tracking (audit trail of all downloads), Classic & Lightning Notes Download, Event Log Download and Account Engagement Pardot Files Download.

Can I try the app before purchasing?+

Yes. You can install the app and take a free Test Drive in both Sandbox and Production environments. Mass File Download is a pure UI app - it only reads files and downloads them. It never creates, modifies, or deletes any records or data in your org, so you can safely try it in Production with full peace of mind.

Is there a download limit?+

No. There are no monthly download caps or file limits in the base license. You can download an unlimited number of files. The Lightning Tab add-on supports up to 5,000 files per single operation, and standard mode processes 2,000 per batch with unlimited pagination.

Is Mass File Download secure?+

Completely. The app is 100% native to Salesforce and your data never leaves Salesforce infrastructure. It is AppExchange certified and uses the full Salesforce security model, permissions and sharing rules throughout every download operation.

Can I use SOQL to filter which files to download?+

Yes. You can filter by object type, date range, record IDs, file size, owner, or any Salesforce field using SOQL. This lets you download exactly the right files without having to manually select each one. Satrang's support team can also help you build the right SOQL query for your use case.
