Where can I use Metadata Search in Salesforce?+
You can use Metadata Search as a Lightning Tab, add it to your Utility Bar for quick access from anywhere in Lightning Experience, embed it on the Home Page, add it to any record page, or use it in Salesforce Classic. It is available wherever you need it inside your Salesforce org.
What is the List All add-on?+
The List All add-on ($120/user) enables you to check all records within your org that use a specific metadata component and download the complete results as PDF or CSV. It is ideal for impact analysis before making changes, technical debt cleanup, and audit documentation. It is priced separately from the base license.
Can I export or share my search results?+
Yes. Search results can be downloaded as PDF or CSV directly from the app. You can also email the results to any email address as a PDF or CSV attachment. The app includes a printable view of all components for documentation and training purposes.
Can I try the app before purchasing?+
Yes. You can install the app and take a free Test Drive in both Sandbox and Production. Metadata Search is a read-only app. It never creates, modifies, or deletes any records or data in your org. You can safely try it in Production with full peace of mind.
